Default Pictures of some classic Italian masterpieces.

Hey all petrol heads, down here in Hobart on Sunday, our car club put on a bit of a display for the Italian Fiesta. So, and having fun with some lighting effects on my Iphone, I snapped away pictures of various cars that appeal to me. Mine while on display is a modern Alfa (156 Sportwagon), rather than a classic sportscar, such as the Lancia Fulvia Zagato, Maserati Ghibli SS, Lamborghini Urruco, Ferrari or even the sweet Alfa Romeo Giulietta Veloce Spider. The Fiat Abarth OT1600 is a replica built by its owner for classic rallys such as Targa Tasmania, etc.

Needless to say it was a great day, albeit too hot, but with plenty of pasta, pizza, birra, vino and gelati and lovely Italian girls, who was complaining.

    4th pic (b & w) is that a Fiat 124 or Alfa.?

Used to have Fiat 124 Spyder in New Zealand. Best drive through the mountains, mid winter, heater on, window up, hood down.... to this day I still remember the exhaust noise through the Arthurs Pass
I would love to grow my own food, but I can not find bacon seeds

No the spider was a late 1950s Alfa Romeo Giulietta Veloce Spider. I have both a '69 Fiat 124 sport (AC) and a '69 Alfa Romeo Giulia TI 1300, but both are under covers in a shed, waiting for some mechanical work etc to get them back on the road. The attached pics are of my Giulia and a 124 like mine, but as well a couple of photos of the restored interior of my 124, which I had done in Connolly leather.

Re the Ducatis, well there were a few bikes, including some scooters (Piaggios and vespas) on display but they were indoors. My brother in law's Ducati ('73) 750 SS was used for a photo shoot to promote the event (on the front page of the local newspaper). But he didn't bring it to the display nor his early 70s 750 GT.
