    Default ugliest car?

I think this one may qualify. What were the designers thinking?

    ssangyong action sport.

Well built but so ugly from every angle your knees tremble.

They actually look better after being wrapped around a telegraph pole.

I cringe every time I see a SsangYong Stavic. That 'backward' shape rear window is ugly.

Also, add almost anything made by SsangYong to the list... what about their utes? And the grill on the front of them? I guess the designers of AU Falcons moved to SsangYong.

The sport has the same front as the ute, but IMO an even uglier rear.

You can pick them up REALLY cheap second hand (wonder why). The motor and auto tranny can be expensive to fix if it goes wrong but they are very well built. If you could live with the looks and the ever impending bankrupcy they could be a good option.

I reckon all the newer bm's are fugly, but the 1 series is totally pointless. They start in the high 30's and the 2.0 diesel is over 50. You can get a wrx for that money, faster, better handling, better built, cheaper to run. Apart from insurance maybe

And no one will think your in real estate...

I know you believe you understand what you think I wrote, but I'm not sure you realize that what you just read is not what I meant.

Something like this, but older and more ungainly, lurched past me this morning, bouncing all over the place. Left hand drive and all. Ugly, but sort of beautiful too...

If the PT Cruiser had been fitted with a decent engine it would have sold heaps more as a modern take on classic lines. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder on this one.

I have a Stavic, and what it lacks in aesthetic appeal (It grows on you, yes I know so does fungus and pimples.) it more than makes up for in space (7 adults plus 5 suitcases to the airport, and not squashy), fuel economy (On highway get better than 7 litres per 100km), towing power (What trailer?), and reliability (Merc. 2.7L turbo diesel engine)

For me the Mondeo from the late 90's had a horrible back, and every bodies favourite the Taurus

I reckon this car would qualify as an ugly looking car.

A mate of mine used to own one of these back in 1954 a 1934 DeSoto Airflow very similar to the Chrysler Airflow.

At the time it could beat the current FJ Holden on a standing start to a 100 clicks and it was stock standard.

Because he couldn't afford to buy brake fluid he used to use water in the hydraulic brake system and the only reason he ended up putting brake fluid in was we were doing a trip down to the snowy.

I dare say the Chrysler PT Cruiser was based on the design of the old Chrysler Airflow.

Does that mean any more deliveries to Thirlmere need to be done in the Commodore?

Those great wall utes. Look ok from the back but the front is awful.
