Looking great tell him was he chassis sandblasted?? He ground back all the chassis and sanded ti clean it up then spray painted
What timbers is he using for the bearers and flooring?? The timber on her was way to damaged for true recognition so he is rebuilding it on quilla as recommended to us from the local wood shop that are helping us out
What finish is he using?? He is doing several coats of outdoor clear lacquer to seal her at this stage.
Next the motor what's happening there is it a goer or full rebuild?? The motor is full goer.He has had this truck for years and she was fully drivable up to 10 years ago but the motor is going to get a rebuild at the same time as doing it up. He did the same with the diff. She has already had the over haul. Motor is next.
Cabin ?? The Cabin is in the process of being made now. She is Quilla too. there is more photos to come that is all she is up to at this stage. If they want more he got a whole folder full of them, sides, front back under the lot that I can send them. If they need. He been busy. and he is as happy as pig in mud. Great to see.

Nice project and from I have seen very doable. The motor looks very similar to the Chrysler/De Soto/Dodge side valve six used in the twenties. But that is going on thirty year old recollections. My neighbour had a 1928 Chrysler Roadster. Beautiful car. In its time, Chrysler was like Mercedes-Benz is today. Chrysler of today is a shadow of its former glory. Walter P. Chrysler must be turning in his grave.
The good news is the motor and running gear was so unbelievably sturdy, my neighbour's car which had been sitting under a mango tree for twenty years, only needed new spark plugs, leads, points etc and the timing set up. It went on the first go.
I hope you're that lucky.

Great stuff Toni. He's a lucky bloke to have a lovely wife that takes an interest.
I don't envy him having to rebuild a vehicle outside though. I'm so glad of my shed and hoist.
