Default How to block unwanted mail iphone5

Every morning I wake up with 30 to 40 unwanted messages, "cheap flights, meet Russian girls, Aldi" they come from all sources, so annoying.

How do I block all unwanted mail and only except one's with names in my Contact list.

Get Spamdrain. I have used it for several years. It is programmable and will give you control of all your email.

Ken, I pay a small amount each year for the service - tax deductible work expense. Worth it - if you receive any questionable emails, you can open them on their website, rather than on your hard drive.

Redirect all email to a new gmail account. It will auto filter out all the spam.

On the iPhone just create another IMAP profile (settings, general, email, new).

When replying, change the From: to your original email.

Unsubscribing from many real lists like Aldi works surprisingly well. Let gmail filter out the remaining dating and pharmaceuticals ads.

I have a Telstra email account and that does a good job of filtering out the spam, I then forward it on to a gmail address and I have never had a spam email since I started that. Be aware that gmail can and might read all email, it is in their T&C's when an account is opened.
