Turn off cellular data
I have an iPhone5 and wish to turn off cellular data.
According to Google, it says go to settings, then general, then cellular data etc etc
Under General, I cannot see listed Cellular of any description, any clues?

Try looking for mobile data, the option should be under settings.

Thanks forrestmount, found mobile data under mobile, not very clear
I investigated this when I got an email from Telstra telling me I had used $44 worth of data.
This concerned me as I was absolutely certain data was turned off, somehow data was turned back on.

Depends on the region/keyboard you set the iphone for. In many regions it’s called “cellular” but in Australia it’s called “mobile”

It's "Mobile Data" on my iPhone 5. You gotta keep it off or it'll just get whittled away...

You can select what Apps use Mobile data. I have a small monthly allowance in data, keep my Mobild data On, but only have a few Apps able to access it. If you leave Mobile data on, what you want to turn OFF is Wi-Fi Assist which is also under Mobile. That can chew data when you think you are in a Wi-fi hot spot but its flaky.
