Format Button worked!!
Well I was just trying to get my flash to work on my camera a pressed the format button accidently and "poof" all my photos gone from my memory card.
Does anyone know a free program to recover the files. There are plenty free trials - but the ones I tried all have save disabled.
Or is there any other way to recover the files.

I've successfully used "Zero Assumptions Recovery" (I think that's the name - definitely "Zero Assumptions" something...)
Took quite a while (hours) but did a pretty good job.
Cheers,
Andrew

My CF cards came with a utility called RescuePRO.
Claims to 'recover data for any memeory card format"
I can stick it up on my website if you're interested.Geoff
