Ooo, didn't know about Transmisions:Element 120. Had heard about Dishonoured but never gave it a go... Might need to install Steam again!
The Half Life series has got be one of the best FPS games ever made. Story line and humour is fantastic! RE HL3 - lol. I have unfortunately given up on HL3 or HL2: ep3 ever being made...
How does Thief compare to Splinter Cell or Assassin's Creed?
I think the last good single player campaign game I played was S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl. Since then, I've only played multiplayer online games but that has fizzled since moving to an area with poor ADSL speeds and latency issues.

Hello, I ended up getting a 2nd hand 960, dropped it in, had trouble finding a power cable long enough in the case to reach the cards lead, had to undo some doubled up cables, but got there in the end.
The original vendor still hasn't paid me, they threw back a "low ball" off after telling me I wasn't going to be hit with there so called 20% restocking fee, all they do is wack that card into one of their system builds.
I had to get Paypal involved, I did counter offer a higher figure, than they offered but they said they are having trouble getting through to Paypal?
Card fired up no worries downloaded latest drivers - all good.
So thanks again for your help guys.
Cheers
Stevo

Just dispute it with Paypal.
The PC industry seems to believe consumer protections don't apply to them. The entire industry is rife with BS players with BS responses and BS "suddenly cant speak english".
I despise MSY for that exact reason. I bought a DOA SATA controller off them and they point blank refused to refund. I forced them to put it into a system - and yep, it was dead. They reluctantly refunded.
They are all scumbags, so you must treat them as scumbags. Have no mercy. Its all a tactic to retain profits at any cost.

Just on a side comment
I've had to return 3 items to PC Casegear
HDD
Monitor
and most recently a video card
no problems in refunds or swap - they even covered my freight to them here the video card was dead as we said
they wouldn't cover consequential damages though and in the end I couldn't be bothered pursuing it.
on the otherhand I agree that a lot of the industry consider that the consumer laws don't apply to them.regards

Forgot to mention Black Mesa. If you're a Half Life fan and played it a billion years ago, the Black Mesa will absolutely, totally and completely enthrall you for 50 straight hours.
It is magnificent: Black Mesa on Steam
Im playing Thief right now... Thief on Steam Its just as good as Deadly Shadows and Thief 2. Its so much fun. I did a bunch of drop backstabs last night - the cutscenes and character expressions are priceless. I laughed so loud my wife told me to shut up! It was 3am....
Good value A++.
Back to cabinet making.. chop chop!
