have you borrowed 's pole spinner to do your front porch yet ?
still looking for a "dielectric fluid "
as for not destroying the circuit boards and cheapness " Caster oil " sounds like the go , but jells ( pore point ) at -10c , not good enough
"Fluorinert" would be the best , wont harm a thing , pore point at -100c < boils at 150 , perfect , at $300lt , lol , yer right , if i did spend $5000 bucks on Fluorinert coolant , i would double glaze a window , with a vacuum , add an oxygen blubber , and let a live rat live in the tank breathing the Fluorinert , there is not a problem drowning a rat in it , and it will live , untill you take it out , then it will die , easy to fill its lungs with Fluorinert , impossible to clear the lungs quick enough , when you take it out ( and we all know that you are allowed to be cruel to rats )
mineral oil attacks the rubber in some electronic parts , same as motor oil will , even brake fluid is a dielectric fluid ( corrosive as hell) deionized water will work until it ionizes again
so im now looking into POE's ( fake oil ) or synthetic oils
synthetic mineral oil looks good , (synthetic refrigeration maintenance vacuum pump oil sutable to use with the new "feon " liquids ) but will look for a real thin running one
as a Polyolester base , polyurethane glue is fine ( sikaflex ) , and wont harm natural rubber seals in capacitors , the only problem i see( my own concussion ) is the Polyolester based resin used with the fiber glass parts i was going to make ,will slowly turn too jelly in the presence of an oil chemically the same as its made from ,
might have to use expensive carbon fiber resin i have to get around that one , and will have to flood the mother board in the same carbonfibre resin ( west system glue ) so the motherboard fiberglass dosnt turn too jelly , Polyolester capciters discribe the insulating oil used inside of them , if they have Polyolester oil inside , Polyolester oil out side wont hurt them
it seams oil based mineral oil will eat away a " silicon " sealant , same as silicon oil with silicon sealant , hence the " tank cracking " after 6 months of use ,posts on the net
so out of all the dielectric juice ,
the ( ground ) oil destroys rubber , wicks up in between your cabling and escapes
vegetable oils , dont hurt a thing but jell at -10 , same as seed oils
POE softens fiber glass only(Polyolester) , but can be pumped at -30
silicon oil is too thick too pump
and the extreme end of dielectric oils come with an extreme price tag and are totally harmless , even too rats ( the rat/ fish (umm next doors cat ) might dehydrate , not the coolants problem , but a problem for the coolant )how come a 10mm peg dont fit in a 10mm hole

I'm trying to remember if I saw some guys do this with liquid nitrogen as the coolant, and to keep it cool enough, they put dry ice into it.

The term 'grammar nazi' was invented to make people, who don't know their grammar, feel OK about being uneducated.

Also water cooling being one of the favourites along with refridgerants...
BOINC(Berkley Open Infrastructure to Network Computing) is a group that utilises peoples pc's either by dedicating them to preocessing or when screensavers kick in, has a mad hap group that cool there pc's to run them faster..
Some even build clusters(groups of pc's coupled as one) to even get faster results..
I had 4 pc's running doing processing, trying to out do a friend in perth..(we both had nothing better to do than be silly..
Sawdustsniffer, what os you going to run? I found Linux stripped down to bare basics, running boinc, could bring the temp up quickly but also controllable.. Used to remote login to monitor things so all process's where busy except when I was checking, it wouldn't interfer too much with the cpu work load.
And no, I'm no cumputer nerd/nut(just a bit touched).. Only good use I found for them was to site in the rifle, Box makes good target and board inside drops down so if second shot goes through you can see it...

Why can't you stick the whole lot in a freezer and fill it with argon?

According to the first couple of sentences you only
wanted to destroy them.
Could have been simpler and cheaper to send them to
