Been having 'puter lessons about attaching files and photos and so on. Thought I had that sorted out!

    WRONG!!

Tried to post some info to GJ. Now nowhere to be found!!!!

I had some stuff in folders- I use Outlook - so I thought I will shift that back to my inbox, I know how to attach from there!! Well, it disappeared into the ether and I have not a clue how to retrieve it!!!

Unfortunately most people who use these electronic thingamies to access the Woodwork Forum call their machine a "computer". I think the more correct name is "confuser".......

When we got our first 'puter old 286, my family were/are scattered through NZ so emails were going to be great.

So Id type out (1 finger) 2-4 pages of dribble about us and the kids, then and seperate little notes to each seperate family member.

When finished the puter wouls ask 'do you want to send?' 'Yes' would be my reply, 'do you want to save?' 'No" (why Ive already sent it..........) BAM screen goes blank and 1-2 hours typing disappered, #8="2#4% stupid bl---y things. 2 years later BIL visits from Queensland and trying to get that piece of shoe working better finds files & files of emails.

    Still hate the damn things.
I would love to grow my own food, but I can not find bacon seeds
