Default Recommend an A3 multi-function printer

In my office I have a Canon Pixma multi-function scanner/fax/printer/CD printer. I also have a Hewlett Packard A3 printer which has just died. Even though the Canon has performed flawlessly, to save space, I would like to replace both machines with an A3 multi-function machine.

I've had a quick look around the net and there are some A3 multi-function machines about, but I haven't been able to find one that prints CDs as well. I print dozens of CDs, but again, more from a space point of view, I don't want a standalone CD printer.

Has anyone got experience of an A3 multi-function machine with CD capability or know of one?

I just bought a brother a3 multifunction to print house plans. It has fax up to a4/a3, scan up to a3 and is both networks ready 4 ink cart. I paid $500 for it. The next model due out in june will have duplexing in it as well which would have been good.

It seems to be quite good and all the other brother machines that I have seen go for years provided that you put the brother ink in them.

The model that I have is mfc6490cw

    Hope that helps.

Thanks men. I've had a good look around and I think I'll have to stay with two printers too.

Buy the best, Epson Stylus Photo R2880 and print A3+ borderless.

Thanks Waldo. That Epson looks like a good printer. However, the Canon A4 all-in-one that I have is an excellent printer too and if I can't find an A3 all-in-one, then I only need a basic A3 colour printer to compliment the Canon.
