resizing files
hi to all.
today i tried to up load some photo attachments to a new thread in the metalwork forum. after trying to upload the 1st photo a message appeared saying
dimensions for this file type are 800x800 we are unable to resize your file so you will need to do it manually and upload again your present file is 1280x 960
could anyone tell me how to go about this task please. i am running windows xp.
and are virtually new to computers
thanks toby.

Download MS Powertools Image Resizer from here . It adds a resizer to your right-click menu, and works a treat.

I've found Paint.NET to be pretty useful for resizing images, it's free.
