    Try Webcity.
Pretty cheap, support is a bit slow to respond though.

For the Marquetry Society, I use www.unlimited-space.com.au . Always had great service, and the servers are very stable. Price is pretty competitive.

    Default webcity

I have been using webcity for a number of years and have a few web sites hosted.
It has been a pain free and affordable experience.

Would never use ServersAustralia again, but have been happy with the service and price from Jumba.

I have my name registered with godaddy.

.com and .net is cheaper than .au domains.

    http://www.t35.com/free-web-hosting.php

are free but I don't think they support your own domain name.

I put all my web visible stuff on 200 meg that comes with my adsl and just use my domain for email and stuff.

Depends on what you want to achieve. Overseas hosting sites are usually cheaper. Friend uses dreamhost and her space is unusably big. Lots of nice features but more $ than you'd want to spend on a basic site.

Are you having problems uploading using File Transfer Protocol (FTP)?

Or have you uploaded and not seeing it with the domain name?

The domain names can sometimes take days to work their way through to the name servers.

    in the public_html folder.

If your web page is named something other than index.html you will have to remove the original index.html otherwise it will always show the generic page.
