Default Business for sale - Free (no strings attached)

Hi - I have been a member of this forum for a few years - have always found it interesting but have never posted. Hoping you can all now provide some assistance.

About two years ago (or thereabouts) my partner completed the Absestos Removal course - a day's course but necessary to obtain the relevant certificate. He later created a business wherein he would go to the relevant commercial site - confirm (if applicable) his suspicions re. absestos and if this was the case, would send it off to the lab to be checked. Nothing more - that's all that was involved. If there was no sign of absestos - the register would be marked accordingly.

In Victoria (similar to other states at this time) the law now provides for all commercial buildings to have an absestos register - hence the need not to just have one or two companies (there are very few) doing these checks once a year (which is compulsory).

My partner created a good business - getting $750 per visit - he had all the templates/registers/business names created.

Unfortunately, my partner passed away last year from the dreaded "C" word (not from absestos - which he never touched) and I don't want to throw his good work and research out.

I want someone who is willing to take this over. I don't want any remuneration for the information. I just don't want to throw it out - hoping someone has some insight and can see that this might be an advantage for them to carry on the business that has already been created.

Best regards to all, and thanks in anticipation.
C

Thanks heaps - my other thought was to go to the TAFE that provided the course and speak to the people there who may be able to provide my info to the peoople enrolled in the course - hate to see so much research go to waste! Cheers.
