CANBERRA FORUM STAND - Any interest?

Canberra Timber and Working with Wood Show is coming up 2nd to 4th September.

There will once again be a Forum lounge
However if we can get enough members to volunteer maybe this time we can turn it into a Forum Stand the same as in Melb, Syd & Bris.

What we need:

• A coordinator - to pull it all together
• Members - to man the stand
• A couple of hours of your time
• Some enthusiasm

What's in it for you:

• FREE ENTRY - to the show each day you work on the stand
• Meet other Members
• Meet new people - Meet and talk to like minded people
• Bit of fun - Has been described by others as fun, enjoyable, fulfilling

Anyone interested in helping man the stand please put your name down here with a preferred time and day.

If you want the job of coordinator please let it be known. Will mean a little bit of work but nothing much and there is help available from other coordinators. RufflyRustic - Brisbane, jmk89 - Sydney, Groggy - Melbourne.

When (if) we get someone who wants to coordinate, a roster will be done and sent to volunteers if there are any.

You have almost 2 mths to pull this together, lets see if Canberra can make it happen like Melb, Syd & Bris.

I only joined the forum at the Sydney show but I am more than happy to help if help is needed. I can do a Sat or Sun morning if that helps.
I can also be available at short as I only live about 5 minutes away.
I should point out that I am a rank amateur in woodworking, but I surf here all the time and can see the benefits of the forum.
