There's some very good buys there. Carbatec and Hare and Forbes seem to be having one sale after another these days. If that's not an indication that times are tough I don't know what is. I've certainly noticed it over the last number of months. There seems to be a lot of uncertainty out there and everybody has closed their wallet.
Hope this sale goes well for you guys.

I was hoping some of the Leigh stuff might be discounted, alas not
But there are some excellent automatic clamps that are now in the basket

They are clamps that dont require adjusting to make them fit: https://www.carbatec.com.au/clamping...Sale%20-%20100
I'vetwosix Kregs already. Automaxx are another brand. The CT ones are the same in operation.
With the existing style hold downs you need to get fairly close to the final height with a stupid nut and bolt system. Its a mega PITA. These new styles simply need NO adjustment. You just clamp it down and it adjusts the height automatically.
One thing you can adjust is the pressure applied. A little screw winds in and out. By winding it right up it can apply absolutely fantastical force.
They are amazing to use on jigs for the TS and RT. I use them on my Festool bench too just by attaching them to a plywood "plate" or onto a dog.

Sydney is out of the veritas butt chisels, but still has about 2-3 of each kind of the on sale bench chisels.
Got me to spend ~350 of coin i wouldnt have otherwise, and with trend having a sale tomorrow, i might be in the dog house till xmas, probably worth it. This is my first non-bunnings chisel.
Good luck hunting

PS they must not have had many of the BS250, the 10 inch bandsaws, because i spent an hour last night trying to buy one at $249

I might get some looks trying to bring that back by carry on... Would love to try and justify the blade as safe

The wife asked me Wednesday, is their anything woodwork wise she could get me for Christmas, I replied 'not really as I am spending time on other pursuits for the next twelve months.' Spotted this thread and have spent over $200 on stuff I won't use for a while, but were on a wish list, but not a needs list.

I went in to carbatec about 3 weeks ago to buy a machine, vice and a few other things, couldn't get served. Was there about an hour. I left and complained online and the offered me 10% discount and free delivery. Snooze you lose, I am heading out to Gregory Machinery tomorrow and hoping to buy a machine from there. Bought the vice from trade tools, and bought all the other stuff from local suppliers (some of it at a premium too) Had enough of poor customer service from carbatec brisbane, even the discounts are not worth my time.

Darn, missed it.
Good things come to those who wait, and sail right past those who don't reach out and grab them.

Really quite dissapointed I missed the Jet table saw. Had decided I would splurge for my starting hooby and get a DeWalt 745 and build a table around it, then crosscut sled and mitre sled.
Called on the Thursday about the Jet saw, wasn't too sure I was willing to pay that much but it was a good deal $2400 down to $1400. Took that night of debating to myself and justifying to decide that I would spend a bunch more than I originally wanted to and get one. Called Friday morning and was told they were all sold out. Oh well.
Have been told that Jet is usually heavily discounted towards christmas, is this something I can expect next year?
Really hard to find any reviews on the Jet table saw with the sliding table, the 600m model.
