    Default Debut Novel

    Hello fellow WWF members.
A bit of blatant but extremely proud promotion for my wife's debut novel.

As some of you know, my wife is a writer. After many years of improving and developing her craft, she was signed for a three book deal with the American publisher Tor.
In itself, quite an achievement in the modern publishing world.
After much discussion and editing and more discussion and even more editing the first book is to be released at the end of this month. The second book is currently in editing and the third book is well underway.
Crossroads of Canopy is the first book in the Titan's Forest Trilogy.
You can read more about it here
    http://www.tor.com/2017/01/04/excerp...thoraiya-dyer/
    at the publishers website.
Or you can, if you are a fan of Science Fiction and Fantasy, pre-order from Amazon here:
https://www.amazon.com/Crossroads-Ca.../dp/0765385929 Pre-orders are very helpful to an author.
You can find out more about my wife's writing at her website Thoraiya Dyer's Official Home on the Web

Details of a Twitter competition/giveaway are here:

Thoraiya says that her new Tallowood pen writes on plastic real good. If you press hard it makes it permanent.

Nick made the awesome tallowood pens for the giveaway.

First time on the Forum for quite a while. Wow. What an achievement. No wonder you are so proud of her Tony. Thoraiya must be thrilled with her success. It's always nice to know someone in your family has talent . Margaret and I look forward to reading her trilogy. Cheers mate.
(P.S. Will we see you and Nick at Nick Agar's demo? Ross said I should pester you - Lol)

Further to the above. The book has now been released and is available in all good bookstores and online.

If anyone in Sydney is interested you are welcome to attend the official launch at Books Kinokuniya in the city.

My RSVP has been accepted which is a bit of a worry because I normally wouldn't go to anything whose standards were SO low that they would let me in.......... ?

I'VE SEEN THE PENS, I'VE SEEN THE PENS.........!
They are beautiful and so was the book launch last night. I wasn't sure that I would fit in with a bunch of extroverted story tellers but there didn't seem to be a problem ?

Congratulations Thoraiya, I hope that the future hurdles will diminish with the fame you deserve.
