Deceased Tool Maker's Equipment Sale

Hi All,
I realize that admin may expunge this posting but, please give some grace, because there is no way that I can list let alone price the literally hundreds of items in my Father in Law's workshop.
This Saturday, 15th October,between 9am and 3pm Aladdin's cave will be opened and anyone interested in these items can come, view, purchase and share stories with others. A life of collecting, making, and using the tools of his trade. An extensive library of books on engineering, steam, clocks.

Two forum members have been an enormous help in sorting and valuing these items. Thanks Jim and David. Without your help, the family would not have had a full appreciation of Frank's skill and depth, or what these items may be worth.

Correct me if I am wrong, but it seems the sale is in Queensland.

Lucky QLDer's a wonderful line up of quality tools wish it was closer.

Only if I still lived there. I just spent 10 weeks with a tool maker and know the value of good quality tools which now day's it's hard to find. I will check back later to see more pic's.

Hi All,
First up, The sale is in Brisbane South-side.
Have spent most of the day sorting through stuff, head scratching as to what is what. Even the two "cosultants"

were

on some of the bits and pieces. Big lathe, shaper, power hack saw, Brobo saw and some other bits have already gone to good homes
Here are some more pix. More tomorrow.

He's got some nice stuff all right. It looks like he was doing a lot of prototyping and prefab for engineering (mostly mech and chem) - something that is used less and less now but was a wonderful art in its day. I'm based in Brisbane already, but have too much already.
