Oh, these are beautiful and just what i want when I get my rabbit hutches done! I want to have a name plate for each of the rabbits to put on their hutch

I'll have to track down this thread once I have the hutches built! There would probably be a total of 6 plates needed all up... ohh. they are so beautiful!

Hi Pete, Glad you're happy with the plate, it's the smallest one made so far, the engine looks good!. I'll have to fix up my old Mammod soon.

You may want a few reserve names if they are at all like guinea pigs, are you sure six will be enough?

Hi people, I just wanted to update my rates for making the engraved plates by increasing prices five cents per square cm across the board to the following rates: 25 cents per square cm for aluminium up to 2mm thick, 30 cents per square cm for 0.7mm stainless steel and 40 cents per square cm for 1mm thick brass. This includes setup of the artwork and generating the negative as well as paint fill of the plates once etched. Thanks to those who have taken me up on the offer so far.

Sparky has lost the pendant face plate and switchgear, which mightn't be a problem if I was the only one using the machine.

You can buy new cover plates, but changing the spec on this lathe to "NR", means it would be about 4~6" short with all the deleted buttons on this version. A lathe on evilbay (that may or may not have a working pump ) conveniently has a depiction of what I'm after. From memory, material thickness is 3 or 4mm aluminium, although I'd have to use separate speed and direction switches, up for the challenge ?
