    Lightbulb Free Recycling Australia Wide!

    Hey guys,

Just wanted to let you guys know about a site which lets you get rid of any unwanted stuff you have lying around the house for free. If you're sick and tired of waiting for hard rubbish collection and just want the stuff from your house go to Free Treasure || Free Stuff || Freecycle™ Alternative || and upload it. Everything on the site is recycled back within the community and you can even find yourself some cool free stuff on the site as well! With your support we can let the whole of Australia know about the site and make it the new thing in recycling.

Let us know what you think guys.

    Cheers.

It might be worth doing searches on "Free Recycling - your town"
There is a Yahoo group set up for free goods (recycling) for just the Bendigo region. So you can actually go and pick the stuff up....
There might be other townd who have such an initiative.
    Cheers,
    Joe

Check out freecycle on Yahoo. Lots of regional groups.
You can offer goods or request them as long as they're free.,

Used the Sydney one to get rid of my furniture before the move south.

Well, that was a minute of my life I'll never get back. You could have mentioned that it had only just stated and there was bugger all on there...

Yep, Still bugger all there. I was annoyed when I selected WA, yet one search found me firewood in Melbourne, and the search criteria kept defaulting off WA

You don't seem to be able to search by town or postcode, which is pretty useless to someone living anywhere in the state other than the capital.

The Freecycle Network is the global organisation dedicated to reducing waste going to landfill by offering it to other people who might be able to find a new use for it.

There are Freecycle groups around the world that have been running for many years, either on the Yahoo sites or on dedicated freecycle sites.

Have a look on the Bendigo Group - everything from Melon to stuffed animals.... Although the Bendigo group has a lot more Wanted ads than my local goup.. and no the trainspotting poster isn't mine.
    Cheers, Richard

I take it that you have to be logged in to see pics, as I cannot see any pics on any of they above links?

Most posts on freecycle don't have photos - those don't.
