G'day Cut Twice, you have to watch out for the ones that are Half Cut.
There's also a bludy lot of 'em that don't have much hair but they are still know-alls & are a funny bunch of bar-steads & everything should be taken with a grain of salt. There's the odd roughy among 'em.
Right about now, anyone other than an ozzie is not real sure what I said.
You say you are a carpenter/joiner but you don't say how old you are or how long you've been a carpenter/joiner. What is it with woodworking that's causing you to pull ya hair out? The customers?
I'm a computer tech, have been for 25 years now, I reckon it'd be a ****-hot job if it wasn't for the customers & the employees.
The bloke doing renos at our place says he loves his work but he's ready to chuck it in after he finishes our place 'cos he hates the customers.
I kinda sympathize with him a bit 'cos I have ta live with her.
In the Australian MacQuarie Dictionary (the picture version) under the heading of ****** Picky there's a picture of.... nah, only jok'n.
Mate, if you have any questions, ask away, if someone doesn't know, they'll make up a good answer.

Cliff.
If you find a post of mine that is missing a pic that you'd like to see, let me know & I'll see if I can find a copy.

You will find the guys on this forum a bit of a mix, some really helpful, but not to split hairs, some can be quite rude. I remember when I first joined, one of them really upset me and I came within a hairs breadth of clocking him but as I live in the UK I couldnt do that so I sent him a nasty reply via hair mail but being a macho Aussie of course he didnt even turn a hair.
We have many informative discussions on here as well as the hair raising tales of workshop accidents which go with the hobby. Ive been lucky so far but I have had a few close shaves, and just thinking about them still makes my hair stand on end I can tell you, I bet youre the same?
The finishing section is always good to read here, lots of useful tips like the recent one on filling in some hairline cracks on hairy oak, something Id never haired of before and as such found most interesting.
God look at me rabbitin on or is it hareing on, whatever, so welcome again and please join the activities soon, we all look forward to hairing from you.

G'day cut twice,
Ah You've met the scurrilous cur early on - that's good
I too find the board a great way to learn and ask questions. They're a great bunch of people and you will find plenty of laughs as well as good solid experience.
Welcome - Enjoy

Cut Twice
First of all, welcome to the BB.
Now, if you find that the hair is refusing to grow back, you'll need to consider how best to make the most of the acreage of skin thus exposed. This is where we can help. A lavish application of MFKL will bring up a lustre and sheen that you can be proud of.
(If you don't understand the preceding paragraph, do a search for MFKL and all will be revealed - a bit like your shiny scalp! )
