    CELEBRATING BOXES EXHIBITION
    Celebrating Boxes is a major exhibition of the best boxes from around the world, which opens on the evening of the 21st of September. The International Box Conference will coincide with this opening and is designed to be a forum where makers and designers or indeed anyone who is interested in the box as an art form or as a piece of craftsmanship can meet and learn and be inspired by one another. This is the first event of its kind and one not to be missed!!
    The venue is Tullie House Museum and Art Gallery in the historic city of Carlisle situated on the edge of the beautiful Lake District. Tullie House is hosting the Celebrating Boxes Exhibition from 21st September to the 21st October. As well as a marvellous gallery space the building also has a lecture theatre, workshop and meeting rooms and a licensed restaurant, making it a perfect conference venue.
    There will be evening entertainment from The Old Rope String Band – well known in the area for their hilarious brand of wit!
