I thought he was already a partial "darksider"
You must be different from my 4 daughters at 17 they already knew everything - then at 22 they realised they still had a couple of things to learn - that makes 2 each side of 22 and boy cant i tell the difference
Enjoy life you can have fun just watching these people - making the millions can wait for a couple of weeks, although i dont understand why finishing school is reason for such a big party, its easier than work thats for sure.
Good luck on the job front FC, i hope you get what you want but if not enjoy the experiences and hopefully you will eventually get the "right" job. But just dont let life pass you byregards

Gap Day?
Hi Andrew,
At lease you got a gap day - when I left school (many many moons ago now) I finished my last exam on the Monday and started my new job the next day! My Dad had arranged it - along with a warning about not hanging around the house once I finished school.
Anyway good luck on the search for an apprenticeship, if you don't snag one straight up keep looking.
Regards
Brendan

I was only commenting to SWMBO that last night it was 20 years and 10 days since I finished Gr. 12, of course there are plenty others on here older than me, like Wongo . It's a big world Funkychicken have fun and grasp every opportunity that you can to get you where you want.
One thing, whatever vocation people take it's a very small world in all industries- careful of bridges that you don't burn them - one word can be a negative or a positive. Try and make each step of employment a rung up.

Well today was my second day as a working man. I ended yesterday covered in sump oil and smelling like a fireplace and today I was covered in plain old dirt.
Good Fun
