He had some awesome bits of burl at quite good prices!…..other than that, where could I get burl from around the SEQ Area?

Thats awesome! Thanks for that, Gave him a call and it is the guy I am looking for!

I got some blue gum burl and an arbortech tool blade, and ended up with this:

It is just danish oil but I plan on putting something onto it to keep that shine, not sure what to use though, any ideas would be appreciated.
