I was there on Chris Vespers stand cutting dovetails. Some of you motley lot did wander around (thanks that was great) to see me struggle away (next time I will get up to Chris' very high standards).

Hopefully Chris will post the pictures he took of our efforts, including the houndstooth dovetails we cut.

    Regards from Perth (where else)

Thumbs up Sorry, I was unable to attend the Woodwork Show

    Hi Everyone,

I would have loved to have been there at the Woodwork Show, and to meet all of you on the Saturday, but I had a sinus infection for over two weeks before, which I expected to be over before the show, and then got very sick since at least late last Friday, up till now !.

I am still recovering, and hope to get back to building my PDRacer in about another week or so if everything goes well, unfortunately these things happen unexpectedly !.

    Hey Everybody,

I was at the Wood Show, I was helping out Stan Ceginski, the big fella making all the noise, and wooden things the old fashioned way. We sold a truck load of Camphor Bowl Blanks and heaps of Splindle Stock 90x 90 and 60x60 at 800 long. there was also a bit of Huon Pine but only in platter sized Obliques (oval shapes) If you missed out on some Camphor, the Leftover stock is going to Beyond Tools at Malaga for sale, Tony will be selling Camphor for Stan, so we will have a Supply of Camphor here in Perth. I had a ball working with Stan and I have already made my holiday bookings for next year so I don't miss the Show.

Was Stan the one doing the saw display as well, if so he's a crackin bloke. In training though to beat him next year in the wood cutting contest.
