Nice pictures, Neil. I would love to get the original high-resolution files for use in an article on the zigzag chairs.

It was great to meet some new faces, and several familiar ones, but unfortunate that Felixe and Teejay were sick, and Bob Willson had urgent family business, that prevented their attendance.

I was very happy that the tested chair was easily able to sustain a weight of 262 kilos

Rocker, your shed is clean. That’s not what I saw last time.

Dan, never ever carry a handbag into a man’s shed again.

Wongo, I maintain my innocence - it wasn't a handbag, it was a camera bag! I left my handbag in the car on purpose!!

Thanks so much to Rocker for hosting a great gig. It was an absolute pleasure to be taken on a tour of his shed and home, to be treated to over 60 pieces of finely crafted furniture including timbers such as jarrah, American cherry, silver ash and American white oak. The joinery and designs were awesome (I tried to get Tom to distract Rocker so I could run out the back door with a few items...). Thanks also to Major Panic for the black wattle marking gauge, it has now taken pride of place next to Tom's side of the bed (the Domino has been bumped....), to RufflyRustic for the leather bound notebook (now we will have one place to do design sketches and write out that ever so long wish list of tools...) and to Rocker (again) for the drawknife. Awesome day.

I also wanted to congratulate the crew responsible for making the charity pens. Particularly Stirlo, I really thought your pen looked awesome and was most impressed. Good on you!

Great also to see everyone again and meet some new faces!

    Cheers

I would be grateful if anyone who has good pictures of the chair testing could send me the original high-definition files. If you no longer have my e-mail address, PM me, and I will send it to you. I was too pre-occupied yesterday to take my own pictures of the event.

    Rocker,

The 2 pictures I have are 35.5MB each......I don't think your inbox could accept files that large. I'm not sure if they are any good for what you want anyway.

    Major,

35 Mb is a bit big; anyway, there is something wrong with your camera; some of the photos you took with it show me with double chins and receding hair, which can't be right:eek:
