Some people should REALLY look carefully at the names they choose for web sites. CutleryExpo would have avoided all sorts of unfortunate search results

Just thought I would share some pics from a few of the blokes, and girls exhibiting at the show.

Remember though, this show wont just have custom makers (from around the world) but also some of our most love factory made knives. Brands Like Benchmade will be heavily represented, they are even flying out people from the USA to man the Booth.

I am so excited by this event!

Anyhow some pictures to whet your appetite.

The Canberra Contingent. All these guys will be exhibiting their work, Hunting knives through to straight Razors.

Young Leila is 11 years old and makes a wicked Damascus knife. Our youngest exhibitor, not legally allowed to buy knives yet, but nothing stopping her making ;-)

I would not miss it for the world!

These guys make the most amazing knives....

but not just knives, tools too.

Hand forged chisels and gouges, special purpose hammers and so much more...

Also there will be free blacksmithing Demonstrations in the Heritage blacksmith workshop once used to forge enormous hunks of steel into little things like steam trains. It will be worth coming just to walk through the workshop!

Also I know at least one exhibitor has a huge range of rare and exotic timbers on display, mostly sized for knife handles, but also pens and more.

Well everyone, the show is today! I had a look around yesterday and there are some lovely woods on display from a few exhibitors, but of course it is the knives and edged tools that it is really all about.

Check out the latest by Shawn McIntyre... made in hi 3 x 3 meter shed and a great example that you do not need a huge workshop to make knives.

Come on down to Eveliegh today and check it out.

    G'day all,
Sydney Knife show is coming back, bigger and better; 6th & 7th August 2016 at Rosehill Gardens Racecourse (near Parramatta, NSW).
For the important details, see; Home
The Traditional Tools Group have booked a table at this wonderful event, and are even hoping to do some demonstrations.
These will consist of sharp-tool-on-wood kind of skills. However this shall depend on enough TTTG members chipping in a bit of time on the table and the bench. Maybe even some basic edged tool making in the forge...
Any takers on here, do please PM me, to be included in the logistics.
Look forward to seeing many of you there,
    regs,
    AndrewOC.
