Sydney Tool Sale this Sunday at Thornleigh.
The Sydney tool sale is this coming Sunday.
The club has 60 Plus tables hired out so there should be a good selection of stuff on offer.
Mainly woodworking handtools but there is always a few tables of metal working gear plus books and catalogues.
This is a continuation of the Sydney Tool Sale and Swap I started in the mid eighties and ran as a private venture for 30 years. The club has a great venue and a lot of enthusiastic members running this now. I’ll be there with some estate items plus some treasures I’ve decided to part with. See you there Sunday at 9.
Details are on the enclosed pic, they don’t appear to have a flyer available online but google TTTG for more info.
Thats me with my new eyeballs, very sensitive to sunlight atm but I can see what’s on the bench no worries.

The utes loaded.
Quite a variety of stuff.
Blower and forge, sledge hammers, lots of handles ditto clamps.
Boatbuilders caulking kit and augers plus a large pin maul.
Usual planes including mouldings planes, axes, hatchets, heaps of handsaws.
Thats just some of what I’m taking, there will be about 40 other sellers with a similar mix.

There's not much I miss about Sydney, but this is one of the few things I do.

Henry,
Do you happen to know the name of the seller who was beside you? I left a set of radius fillet tools (metal spheres on sticks) that I had purchased from them at their stand, and then forgot to collect it before I left. I'm pretty sure it was the seller to your right, a man and woman.
Graham.
