Default Teds Plans - SCAM / SCAMMERS

A few weeks ago many of our (u-Beaut) Distributors were hit with a scam from someone who claimed to be U-Beaut Polishes and had harvested names from our Distributor list. But that's another story for another time.

In response to my urgent email warning of the problem I received an email today, from Mike Jefferys at The Woodworks Book and Tool Co Sydney. I have copied and pasted it below with Mikes permission.

Last year someone in the US screen grabbed pages from my site and scammed someone with an offer of Wood Working Plans promised by us (we don't offer plans)

We at Woodwork Forums have had problems in the past with Teds Plans. Initially through members purchases from an advert in Google ads, and we are constantly bombarded by his affiliates trying to put sneaky ads and links into posts, signatures, PM's, etc. So far we have banned somewhere between 300-400 of these scammers and yet they still persist.

Beware of dealings with Teds as they or more likely their affiliates are known to copy a page from a business (as per Mikes email) and put the link in to Teds Plans which get paid for and never delivered. In the past I have had irate phone calls and emails from people who purchased the plans through the Google ad on the forums and never received what they ordered. They thought the forums (or me) were selling the plans.

Hope the above info is of some help to those considering buying Teds Woodworking Plans 16000 Plans.

If you think the above is bogus Google Teds Woodworking or Teds Plans there's a whole heap of stuff about it and the scams mostly brought about by high commissions paid to affiliates.
If like me you're fed-up with these lowlife scammers and spammers report them.

How to Avoid and Help to STOP these Woodworking Plan Scams and Scammers.

    • Only buy plans from legitimate sources. If you're not sure of the source, Google search for reviews.
    • Look at the purchase page where the plans are offered, if it goes to a Clickbank, its most likely a scam product from an affiliate. Affiliates get a large revenue share for selling the product and most turn to spamming to do so.
    • To help remove Woodworking plans scams from the internet report them when possible. EG: in YouTube "flag" the video, on Facebook "report page" on Twitter report the user as spam and on these forums "Report Post". Many other social networking sites offer similar features that let you report spammers and scammers.

There's thousands of good FREE PLANS all over the Internet and there are many more offered for a small fee, If you pay for a plan it is almost always way better than the free plans, so don't be afraid to pay someone for their time and efforts ... you will get a much better plans and much better results.

    Cheers - Neil
