Thanks for having Me
Hi everyone
I'm new here and just wanted to tell you a little about myself.
I have been a Woodworker since 1988
Was a Tool and Die Maker by trade but since retired for 15 years
I started making Lap Steel Guitars about 5 years ago and have since started on a Parlor Guitar.
I'm 77 years old and believe in making my own tools but have bought a few power tools to help in my builds.
I built a copy of the Rickenbacker Lap Steel but my Brother took a shine to it and now it sits in his living room (oh well)
Got some plans for a Jose Ramirez I 1909 that I plan on working on soon.
If this site allows I will post my build as it progresses.

G'Day & Welcome to the Great Southern Land and to a top forum "David".
There are quite a few members from the USA, Canada and the rest of the world.....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork.....
Cheers from On Top DownUnder, crowie
