Trend Timbers Open Day and Sale

Friday 22 & Saturday 23 March

8am - 4pm Friday and 8am - 2:30pm Saturday

Note: Demonstrations will be held on Friday and Saturday

Demonstrations

Cougar and Jet Lathes with various Nova chucks, jaws and lathe accessories,
Skilton power sanding system,
Ironcore Pokerworker (pyrography); and
Pfeil carving tools.

G'Day Neil,
Is you bike going to be on display at the open days?
I'm planning to take the 88yr old who I visit weekly to the open day on the Friday;
finally after 10mths of visiting he has a spark of enthusiasm to get back into carving.

HI Crowie
Was chatting to Adrian from Trend today - "The axe" will be there - but probably not Neil.

I will be coming down from Taree - doing some demos on the Cougar lathe
Tile trivets with no recess on the base.....
Turning acrylics
Might even have a go at turning a bowl with less than 1mm wall thickness.

I also believe Dick will be there showing you how to incorporate an aluminium can into your pens!

Adrian says he has lots of stock at good prices too.

Yes, yesterday I received the Trend VIP Club Newsletter and on page one is a photo of Neil's bike.
In another thread I spoke with neil and he said he had family commitments so only the bike & not the craftsmen would be there.
I'm taking an older gent who I've become friends with through the "community visiting program".
Anyways, I'll see you there on Friday morning.
