TurnUp
TurnUp to be held 19 - 21 August 2016 at Lake Keepit 45 mins from Tamworth.
Cost $180 includes meals and accommodation.
Share techniques and earn new skills from other woodtuners
Bring a lathe and some wood and enjoy wood turning at its best.

As much as I'd love to, I doubt the timing works for me, unless I do a huge detour on the way back from Darwin
. Plus the little lathe's motor has died so I'd need to replace that too beforehand

It's not too late to book in for TurnUp. It would be wonderful to see a few more turners attend to make this a real success for Alan Watson - see details above. He has put a great deal of time and money into organising this event to promote turning and cameraderie. Some will be travelling from Queensland and Sydney to attend. Hope to see more of you there (although it has some heavy competition that weekend). Always great weekends

Sorry guys, I'm not going to make it. I'm back on the Gold Coast but still fixing my lathe and building a new trolley for it.
Hope it all goes well, shame it falls on the same weekend as TurnSA, next year hopefully they will not clashNeil____________________________________________Every day presents an opportunity to learn something new
