It was a good day although I may have been a little tired from an 'intense' and late lunch with friends yesterday? It's a bit of bad luck for tofelofogus but I met up with (at least) Aldav, Pacman, NCArcher, Pittwater Pete, Woollybugger and Heavens above. My impression is that there were fewer sellers in a slightly smaller area but there was still plenty to tempt!
I came home with some very timely door furniture for a current restoration project ......

.....and a radius gauge (which would have been very handy for my recent reproduction of a very old beading profile but that would have been it until I looked again at a Trend mortise and tenon jig..... which then followed me home.
My arrival home looked a little 'worse' than that however as I picked up some booty for ShaneSmith80, received a surplus Studley tool cabinet poster from Woolly and some chisel handle blanks from Pacman?

I'll be very interested to see what you think of that Trend mortise and tenon jig Fletty, didn't look like it had ever been out of the box in anger. I alerted my brother to a Incra Lite router table fence system with 'some missing parts', but alas it was sold for $15 as he arrived at the scene - that's right $15! Bugger!

I had a pretty relaxed day for the first time ever at the sale.
Didnt do any good on the Spurs Ray but still managed to spend a few bucks on some bargains.
Im getting a decent #3 together for my daughter whose doing the TAS teachers training course at ACU currently so picked up a 10 patent and a spare body $25.
The adjustable mouth shaves are hard to pass up at $10.
Ditto the Record clamp heads for $5.
The Mole gripe gadget may be handy for the Tig and Mig welding $10.
The other pile were $1 each including the Starret feelers.
Probably my best buy Machine Woodworking an American book with a reasonable history intro and details on using most gear. 1937 seventh printing 1947.$12.
Chatted to a TAFE teacher I hadn't seen for 20years and amongst others a dude from Windsor with a handle factory running a line of 1900 vintage copy lathes etc.

I got it for $100 virtually unused. I also couldn't justify any of these jigs for $600+ especially as my domino has taken over many of its 'duties' ?

Thanks for even looking Henry ah well back to scrounging markets.

Good scores not seen those Mole grips for many years. Ocy straps usually Sue finds them by road side when walking the dog well down in Sydney she did.

    Aldav,
Assessor approved it on the spot. Let me choose the grade (light/heat/colour) of roof covering. Paper work filled out that arvo. Roofing guy coming tomorrow to measure up.
    I'm impressed.

That's a decent number of sellers! I went to our local tool swapmeet in Perth a few months back and there were like 5 tables
