I read the first couple of posts and opted to try the link in the original post and had no issues. At the very bottom of the page, there is a link to a youtube folder with about 8-10 videos of the goods in use. This is a copy of the youtubelink for anyone who is initially cautious or does have issues loading the site .

Anyway, he made up the web site pretty quickly, and it's up and running. WoodTurners WorkHolding Solutions | United States | WoodTurning Tools ............. Jerry (in Tucson)

Site looks great, really like the tail stock steady, really great idea for holding a steady - got me thinking. Some really nice turning shown in those pictures.

The site worked for me too. I found it a bit busy (but that is just a personal aesthetic opinion which you are free to disregard [1]), with a bit of laggy performance when scrolling between sections and background changes, but that could be a problem at my end. It was easy to find information though, which is the most important thing.

I had no trouble viewing the site using chrome on my cruddy little tablet running W10. I do have a little (hopefully constructive) criticism in that it appears that the two main areas designed to generate sales look like they were developed independently from each other:

    1. When looking at the "Featured Products" the slideshows run too fast; I feel that 3 seconds per slide is too rapid for me to take in much detail. 4-5 seconds would be better, for me. Also there is no pricing information.

    2. In contrast; the "Other Products" consists of a simple photo gallery that allows the viewer to select between pictures as they desire and for as long as they like. Plus the price and shipping info is shown. To me, this is a far more user-friendly arrangement that positively engaged me and encouraged me to look for more info and examine the details. I would recommend you change the "Featured Products" slideshow to mimic this arrangement.

As for the actual products; the two work holding systems look good. The custom chuck plate is not a particularly new idea in principle but your version looks very well made and sturdy. The tail stock steady looks rather Heath Robinson/Rube Goldberg but when I watched the videos clearly it works well. And if Sturdee endorses it then it can't be all bad! I do like the small collapsible bench but think you've made a slight boo-boo by not showing the assembled dimensions; giving the flat pack size is only really important for products like the various vibrating exercise painting ladder smoothie blenders (with built in digital radios) which need to be compact so they can be easily stored under beds; as seen on TV. I worked out it would be around 17" high by 32" long and 12" wide; is that in the ball park?

Congratulations for having the intestinal fortitude to design, build and market these products and I hope you have great success in selling them. I'll keep an eye out for new products too!

    Hey Jerry (in Tucson),

Now (**warning** tongue in cheek here) shouldn't that be "Jerry in Tucson, Arizona" you yanks always seem to qualify/fully define your locations within the US!

Your site works well for me here in Brisbane (Australia) (and through a VPN at that) so no problems for me. It is a good, simple site, but I couldn't see the prices for the items (except the bench) anywhere. I'm a long way (about 2,000 km) from Melbourne so I can't 'drop-in' for a try but I think your products look great. I'd try them out if I had a chance. I have some stunning burls to turn and have been hanging off because I don't want to lose the naturally convoluted surface. The tenon-remover looks good too. I am a novice turner so haven't created any fancy bases like on your Youtube so removing my tenons is easy - I run the bowls upside down through my drum sander! However, that technique would definitely be a disaster for the feet on your bowls (as well as only achieving a flat-foot so to speak).

If you branch out and make the products available down under please let me know.

I'd like to thank all ya'll for your comments. I seem to get more from foreigners than my own countrymen.Hehehe Really, I have 20 comments from you, and only about 10 from 2 other sites in my own country. Goes to show you where the real people are.

David, Tucson is synonymous with Arizona. It doesn't need the state designation as most Americans do know where it is. On the other hand, Tucson is a world class destination for visitors from anywhere on the planet. I really don't see what the fascination is, other than our State and National Parks, but in the winter, this place is crowded. Here is another local Arizona town that doesn't need the state recognized. It's Quartzsite, located 17 miles east of the Colorado River and border of California. Permanent population of 1500 people during the off season. Between October and April, the population grows to 1 1/2 -2 million people. It's known by seniors and others escaping the cold winter regions of Canada and the US. Camping out in the desert in 1-3 million dollar motor homes. What a life. And I'm in a tent....

If it is permissible, I can lead you to a woodworking site here that when I first made the Chuck Plate, out of wood, I posted how to directions. Find the tenon size you like, some 3/4" Baltic Birch, 5 big wood screws about 6mm x 1 1/2 to go through the tenon, 8 more at 6mm x 1" plus?, a little glue, and make your own. It's really easy. ............ Jerry (in Tucson)

I'm sure there will be no problem Jerry with a link to that website. I was looking to adapt a chuck with the bowl jaws as these already have the holes with screw threads.
