| | Wonderful day at Jim Carroll's Over twenty members of Northern Woodturners Club today made
a visit to Jim Carroll's establishment.
What a great day it was. Plenty of purchases made, lots of good
natured banter, heaps of information gained, a fantastic selection
of items to choose from and the prices were as usual most attractive.
Jim and Irene were ably assisted by the very approachable Patrick
and a delightful young lady, (sorry did not get your name) who
tended to our needs during our visit. A very professional team.
With our own Ken Wraight lurking on the sidelines assisting members
and his wife Helen helping Irene with "domestic" duties everything
went like clockwork.
The hospitality during our visit was absolutely beyond expectations
and we thank them sincerely for their efforts.
Cheers,
Allan

| | Thanks Allan always good to catch up with all of you. I think a relaxing day was had by all.
Certainly a lot easier to have a chat at our shop than at the woodshow.
Emma is the young girls name. |

Thanks Groggy (mate) ... have just crossed you off my Xmas card list.
Munruben (John) ... might be able to get a couple of pics (but not of me).
Jim. Thanks for that ... will remember Emma's name.

Emma brought out a pot of soup and I asked what it was.
She replied, "It's bean soup".
I said, "I don't care what it's been, what is it now?"
Well, it did not happen exactly like that but that was
the joke I shared with her. Emma was delightful, or
perhaps just courteous ... she was the only one laughing
at all my jokes.
