    Default WOOD / Stock at Canberra wood show

    Gooday Forum readers / fellow woodworkers..

    just a bit of a note to let you know what we are bringing to Canberra soon..

    Billinudgel Woodworks , located in the "Conference" hall, stand T3, will have some really rare Australian timbers,most of our stock will be natives and some lovely camphor..

    The stock will be suited for:

    *bowl turning
    *spindle turning..(some absolutely stunning spalted & varigated red ash for pepper grinders)
    *box making
    *Scroll saw work
    *carving
    *band saw boxes
    *guitar & ukelele making including back & sides, tops,fingerbaords, hardware, pickups etc
    *cigar box guitars
    *toy plans
    *pen blanks

    Species will include:

    red ash, black tea tree, silky oak,walnut,rose gum,red cedar, white cedar, she oak, river oak,tulip satinwood,tulipwood,blackwood,rosewood,qld maple, black bean,red gum,jarrah,mango, jaccaranda,king billy pine, spruce, solomons ebony,mulga, ooline, yellow cedar,camphor laurel and some more...

    we may have some budget bins as well, see how time goes..there's some lovely stuff there and great prices..
