Not Another Boring Lorikeet...
Well yes, pretty prevalent around here. This was taken to try and capture the colour in the wings. Unfortunately, I'm a bit slow and only got a bit of it. The picture was taken into the sunlight so the background is pretty washed out. I used Picasa to try and fix things and this is what I got. The Sigma lens is not the sharpest thing going around...

Shows off the plumage beautifully!
Bit hard to get everything just right if you are after a particular shot or angle, but boy you went oh so close.
