Flinders Street Station @ Night
I loaded up the Lowepro camera bag tonight and headed into Melbourne to bang off a few snaps. Here's 8 pictures of Flinders Street Station all taken from the same spot, but with different lenses. All shots taken at f10 ISO 100

Interesting stuff GJ. While the 17-50 would be the most useful for everyday work, the others have got their place when the need arises.
I was surprised the 8mm changes the perspective so much.Brad.

I probably use the 17-70 for at least 80% of the photo's I take. I should be more adventurous and start using the other lenses more often.

These are great John.
I am amazed at the low levels of distortion at 8mm vs the 10mm fisheye.
I have just started back into serious photography after many years in the wilderness and have also discovered the usefulness of Sigma lenses.
Thanks for sharing these.
How do you get them to be so big on your posts here? Mine come out as thumbnails.
Cheers

The 8-16 is an Ultra Wide Zoom whereas the 10mm is a prime fisheye.

John
Those shots are a real revelation as to what those lenses can do. I remember when I was into 35mm SLRs that the rule of thumb for wide angle lenses was that any thing below 20°would give you the fish eye effect with bending corners. Your camera gives you perfect exposure too in difficult light conditions.
You picked a great subject with the station building. The decorated parts of the facsard are to be marveled at. I don't think we will see buildings like that in the future due to the enormous cost involved.Just do it!
Kind regards Rod
