Free Short Stack Personalised Stickers

This thread is just to keep track of who wants personalised stickers from the CD labels of Short Stack singles.
I'm not charging anything, and I'll send 3 A4 sheets to anyone who wants them, so long as I don't get too flooded with requests. If I do, then I might just ask for a stamped, self-addressed envelope, but there’s a limit to how many I’ll do.
These are NOT official stickers, and I'm not in this to make money. There's copyright information on the label, but that pertains to the CD of course. Nevertheless the image that I started with was the copy of the discs, and it's not mine to profit from or distribute really. The ape is mine but everything else in that sticker (or you could have one of your sheets as a full A4 Apestack sticker, or poster on laminated photo-paper) has been chopped and manipulated from screen-shots of their music clips; 'Sway Sway Baby', and 'Princess'.

Trevor (Joint Sunday Morning Records manager, along with Chris) had a good laugh, he showed my stuff around, he's putting an Apestack sticker on his guitar case, and he was happy for me to dance around with my monkey, handing out stickers. They were handing out plenty of their own on the day. I'm not tapping into their merchandise dollars, and it can only help them out if I hand out a few stickers to loyal fans.

If you want some then just make one post only so I can keep track of the number of your post, starting from the first reply at #2

Put the name you want inserted on the stickers, either in the title of the post, or as the first word in the post.

Don’t post your address in the thread, and ask your parents before you give your address to me in a private message. Or I can mail it care of your parents to your nearest post office and they can pick it up, in which case I don’t need your address. But still don’t post any details in the thread.

The stickers are easy to make if you have a printer, and you can print as many as you like. I’ve explained how to do it in the Short Stack Monster Poster thread, and it would be easier for me to just send you a template with your name on it. If you have any questions you can message me.

If you just want a template then say “Template” as the second word in your post.

If you want me to make three sheets of stickers and post them to you, then say “Stickers” as the second word in your post.

That’s all you have to post, but you can leave a comment, or just a smilie if you want.

Keep the discussion about the band in the Poster thread please.

I don’t know how many requests I’ll get but I’ve had a lot of interest on Facebook. Whether they sign up or not is another question, but this is open to any existing WWF members as well of course. You might have a friend who would like some and I’m happy to make them for any members. If you have any questions you can send me a message.

Here is a template that Magilla made, inserting ‘Zoe’ as the fan’s name on the three discs. Click on the image for the full sized file;

I’ll try to squeeze in a small face shot of each of the band members, and you can cut out your favourite to insert in the back of your pin button from the Stack Packs, if you have one. That template needs a bit of touching up to improve it a little as well (a bit of black on the angel wing to match the other side, and some hair is missing from the bottom of Magilla's legs in the middle sticker, and Maurice's X bones are a bit crooked in Princess)

BTW, I hope you've bought the album.

It's awesome. Mine's epoxy glued into my CD drive, playing on repeat, and if anyone tries to eject it, they'd better watch out.

Edit: Don't feel that you have to buy the album to ask for stickers though. Some fans spend all their money on Short Stack merch, and some save their money for plane tickets to see them. But some say that they can't afford the stickers before I tell them that they're free.
If you're a true hardship case and you'd like the album but can't afford it, then get your parents to contact me and I'll see what I can do. No snow-jobs please. I'd weed it out.

You don't have to have the album to ask for stickers.
I'm very grateful to you for helping Short Stack in France, and telling people about my poster. There are almost 40 comments there.

I will send you a copy of the new album "Stack Is The New Black".
It has Bradie and Shaun's signature on the front, but my son Andy overlooked it because they were in such a hurry after spending so long signing merchandise for their fans.
The signatures are in silver, and they are on the outside of the plastic CD case, so they will scratch off easily because silver is not permanent, and it cannot be successfully photocopied. Be very careful with it, and you should have it covered with some clear plastic to protect the signatures.
It includes a poster that is a little bit bigger than A3 size, and it is autographed by all three band members in silver.
It has the names of all of the fans who pre-ordered the album printed on the back, and my name is one of them.

I have a limited edition run of autographed A4 sized portraits of my son.
It's not the best picture and there are better ones out there taken by professional photographers, but Andrew posed for this shot for me during the filming of the music video 'Sway Sway Baby'.
It's a nice picture, and it has not been released until now.
There are only eight of these in existence so far.
They are numbered from #1 to #8, and they come with a handwritten letter of authentication from me.
I keep a register of who I gave them to, so there is no chance of forgeries being made.
They are autographed by my son, in silver, and they cannot be successfully photocopied. (If you try to copy it, it comes out grey, and it's not shiny)
On the back, in silver, I have written the word 'ORIGINAL', I have written the date that they were signed, I have written the number of the series, and I have signed it myself on the back.
Then I laminated it in clear plastic to protect the silver, and I signed it on the back in permanent black marker on top of the lamination, over my silver signature beneath.
There is no way you can copy them unless you forge the signatures, and there is no way that it will be entered in my register if it is a forgery.

These are all spoken for, and I will tell you who I gave #1 to in the Monster Poster thread later. This one has a personalised message in a space at the bottom on the front, to the fan from someone very very special to her.
I haven't put a personalised message on any of the others yet, and they haven't been laminated yet.

I will have another one signed for you next time I see Andrew. It will have a later date, and it will be numbered #9.

As well as this, I have twelve smaller copies of the same picture. They are 13 centimetres X 10 centimetres, and they are autographed, numbered from #1 to #12, and registered in the same way.

Some of these are spoken for, but I will send you #1 with a letter of authentication. I haven't authenticated any of these yet, so I can write a personal message on the back before I laminate it, if you like.

As well as this I have a popular autographed photo of my son with an acoustic guitar, from when he was learning to play before the band formed. It's in the poster that I made of the school yard shots in the other thread.
They are A4 size, they are all authenticated, and there are only three of those out there at the moment.
I have six more of these, and four are spoken for, but I will send you #9.

As well as this, anyone from Europe who asks for stickers in this thread will have their name written on a list on the back of an A4 poster of Short Stack that I have yet to design.
Your name will be first, you'll get #1, and I will sign and number the back of each one in silver for authentication.

As well as this, I'll be taking another picture of Andrew when I'm in Perth for their national tour. I'm seeing Andrew at Christmas and I'll ask him to sign a few. I will number these as a new series.

I'll draw a number from a hat from the numbers in this thread, and I'll ask Andrew to autograph #1 with "To (fan's name)" written on the poster. And I'll send it to the winner.

I'm not poor, but I'm not rich either, and neither is Andrew. I pay for all my merchandise, and I've paid for the five albums that I've bought already. I'll buy a replacement for the one that I'll be sending to France.

If I get swamped by requests here, then I'll approach management for some help to promote the band.

BTW, I'm trying to start a club at your website Lorianne. I've used Babel Fish to translate something into French, but your advice would be handy since you speak the language. I'll post it in the other thread for your opinions.

My daughter (Andrew's little sister) Nicole is visiting me for the weekend at the moment, and I want to spend some time with her, so I might not post again until after she's gone on Monday. She's OK with her identity being known, and she might join in the poster thread. I'll post a picture of her, and talk a bit about my family history, and I'll answer my messages, and comments in the other thread when I have time.

I only have four that came with the albums I bought last Saturday, and one from my pre-order. I forgot to take up Andrew's offer of getting more from Mall Music, but if there's enough interest I might approach management for some extra ones. They come with the album, but you have to queue at an in-store to get them signed.
If you live a long distance from an in-store and you'd like an autograph, I might try to help you if you send me a private message.

I'm offering three A4 sheets to anyone who asks, and they don't have to be stickers.
I'll post some options later including the autographed Sway Sway poster, the autographed Princess poster (It's missing Shaun's sig, I'll get it for myself some time, but I can insert one for now), and any choice of photos that I've posted of my son, or any picture of the band that you can find on the web. It will be double signed by me on the back, and anything with a copied signature will have 'COPY' written on the back.
I could divide a sheet into four, and put four different selections in it.
So you could have one sheet of personalised laminated stickers, one big laminated photo, and one laminated sheet of four different photos.

If anyone has more questions about the stickers, then you can ask in this thread, but keep any other discussion in the poster thread.

thanks for the template again, i still haven't had a chance to buy sticker material, but i'll go shopping these holidays

anyway, i was just wondering if you could make me another template?
with "shimmy a zo zo" instead of "zoe a go go" on the shimmy CD sticker :P
and you can just leave the rest the same.
but if that's too much then don't worry because i understand that it might not be fair to the other fans :|
