LOML's Photo's
Our week away to Coff's was worth it. Sue had a ball taking photo's with her Canon A430 so much so she has asked if she can step up a notch or 3 to small SLR.
The photo of the birds are as close as she could get like standing on the table and stretching up into the roof area to take the shot of the Swallow, lean across the table to take the shot of the Magpie.
We love old bridges and had plenty to see in our daily trips.
My photo's have yet to go be developed yep Film all 6 rolls.
Might be the last lot for the Canon 100 as we were lucky to get 2 rolls of 200 last in the store, only 400 on shelves after that.. I did have a look at a Canon 500D while away nice weapon.

Nice pics Sue, well done. Sounds like you had a good time Ray. Thats good, time you had that break. Shame you couldn't have come this far but hope to catch up with you on my visit to Sydney.

Ray, Sue's taking good pics. You better get her a DSLR. Deb got her Nikon D40 and hasn't looked back. Team that with a colour printer and a laptop and Sue'll be occupied for hours, leaving you to play in the shed

Those are some great shots there Ray!
Old bridges are cool, and I've got some old shots that I took over twenty years ago on an ordinary camera. The shots aren't that good, being scanned from pretty crappy quality pics in the first place, but I noticed straight away how similar they are to the shots of yours.
Here's a couple of Amboyne Crossing, an old suspension bridge;
And here's a couple of McKillops' Bridge;
BTW, I like your new avatar.

Ray, she tooks really very nice pictures.
Think she likes it to take nature pictures, like my own sister has the plan to develop this as a hobby, and wanted to make a blog.

Try Imageshack. You can sign up for free and control your photos, or you can just upload them and get a direct link without signing up, or a linked thumbnail to display wherever you want. If you know how to work the html code, then you can post an 800px wide pic on the forums, and have it link to a big pic of several Mb, much larger than your screen size. I don't know what the limit is, but I've posted some huge pics and I've yet to hit it. There's a pretty big one behind the flag in my sig.
Not trying to discourage using the forums hosting, but I like to post my pics elsewhere as well, and I don't like to use Neil's bandwidth for that.It looks like you might find it here somewhere. I like that shot with the turquoise water.
Edit; There's even a forum for it. There seems to be a forum set up for just about anything nowadays. I wonder if the South American Dung beatle has it's own forum yet.

Yeh that blog looks good.
I checked it out a while ago.
I got a Flikr as well, but they reduce the images there so I don't really use it.
They reduce them at photobucket as well, but I've had an account there for a long time now and use it for anything that doesn't need to be above forum size, although with some high pics, they reduce them below 800px wide which makes them narrower than they have to be for forum posting.
Imageshack FTW.
