Here's some pics of the guys in the Parade
544 photos and picking just 10 blokes was tough, choosing the gals was even harder.

living the dream Bob, living the dream!
I think maybe you should crop out the horses.I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.

Some more shots from the parade
These two groups weren't actually in the parade - they were just part of the warm up acts

Just when you thought you'd seen it all, cowgirl bellydancers!
Attachment 141489
Just before the parade kicked off this little kid ran way from his mum because he wanted to be in it.

There were just so many photogenic people out there.

Hi Bob,
Top shots mate. You holiday junkie you. Keep em coming Bob.
Love all that colour, particularly the traditional costumes.
P.S. How come all the girls seem to be waving specifically at you ? Bob the charmer with the camera.

Great pictures Bob. That small spot Appaloosa is absolutely beautiful!
.
I know you believe you understand what you think I wrote, but I'm not sure you realize that what you just read is not what I meant.
Regards, Woodwould.

Cheers guys.
I like the heavy horse teams as well, and some of the carriages are works of art. The amount of work that goes into getting them ready is amazing
Today I went back to see the semifinals and finals of the world blacksmithing championships but ended up staying for they day - there is so much happening.
As well as the blacksmithing, for $14 I saw all this
Cowboy obstacle course and Western horsemanship events
Vintage tractor pull
Single Heavy horse Carriage Event
Cow penning team event
Minihorse chuck wagon races
Walked the fast food strip and some of side show alley to look for photo opportunities - gees I could have stayed there all day.
More photos soon.
I'm not into rodeo and good seats cost a bit more than I'm prepared to pay.
