It looks like Bonnie and Clyde are now Mom and Dad!.
They've been nesting in the thick foliage that covers the big water tank next to the house.

The happy couple have been joined by two young male wrens to help with the feeding of the new clan.

Here's a few more shots from around the place over the last days.

I'm missing not spending as much time with the camera.
But hopefully I'll correct that so!.

    Cheers
    Trev.

Congratulations on becoming a Grandad Trev, I suppose you will have naming rights. Uncle Dave TTC should be very pleased with your efforts.
Fabulous photos as usual, you certainly have a great back yard for wildlife.

    Have fun,
    Alan...

We've had a lot of rain over the last few days.
Add to that working on the Brough and there's not to much in the way of photos.

Still the motorcycle display is this weekend so after that I can take sometime for walking around with the camera.

I've no idea Charlie it could be a roach for all I know.
But it looks cute peeking over the top of the flower.

I'm right in the middle of the vintage motorcycle meeting at Symmons Plains.
There's some photos over on the Brough Superior thread.
Not that all the action of the races and the old bikes aren't good fun.
But I'll be glad to get today out of the way and have more time for taking shots around here.

Although the first two photos below aren't the best I was happy to get them.
It's a Shining Bronze Cuckoo his almost out of range high in a tree top.
But I've not seen one before so

You can see in the first pic one of Clyde's youngsters, who he was keeping a good watch over.

    It's a Shining Bronze Cuckoo.
Beautiful looking thing the green on the wings appears really metallic in the sun.

Although not my favourite bird they lay their eggs in the nests of other smaller birds.
Like wrens and let the other birds raise their young.
When the Cuckoo chicks are born they throw the rest of the young out of the nest!.
