Your back yard must be like an avery. Again, top photos. Makes me want to go out and buy some decent gear, but then I suppose you need to know how to use it too.

    Good morning Dave.
I hope I've got this post done before you have your pancakes mate.
I was out chasing that elusive little Firetail late yesterday.
    No luck there!.
But this fellow seemed pretty keen to get in front of the lens.

You know I reckon there's good reason why they named these guy's "Superb".

Anyway hope that gets me back in the good books mate.

    Thanks for that Dave.

Going in to Launceston today I pasted a small church just outside St. Mary's.
Built in 1847 Christ Church is a example of the history you can find in Tasmania.

It looked great in colour but I think B/W is the way to go here.

    A truly beautiful place!.

    Cheers
    Trev.

Was at work yesterday and saw a black cockato out the window. I know you are not up to this technical type of photography (tongue-in-cheek).

You may be able to make out a black blur in the green blur thru the wire mesh (a black blur with lines lol)

Oh to have had a decent camera.

    Trev,

That is quite "spine tingling". Looks like something out of "Harry Potter" movies. Photography is excellent - great skills
