I'm surprised.......
That not a sinle mention has been made of the action of Tomana Tahu in walking from the Blues' origin squad.
I say " GOOD ON HIM." i think it is well past time where the sort of crap the Joey Johns carried on with is deemed even remotely acceptable in any circumstance.

I agree artme, Joey needs a good slap on the back of the head but i don't think Tomana should have abandoned his team mates. There are other ways to handle these situations. Get Joey sacked by all means but don't leave the team in the lurch.
Those were the droids I was looking for.

Newcastle's favourite boy has had too many chances, this last one against Tomana Tahu surely must be the last nail.

It's interesting that people find the racist word offensive but not the other.
I've been a sports coach for years and was was appalled at the quarter time and half time talks by the coach of my son's team (he was 20+) although they were adults.
To call the other team all the swear words under the sun and then tell the team to go and get them surely is not the way to bring out the best in a team.

Too busy celebrating the Tigers' second win of the season.

I think they are all offensive. And my last post about Andrew Johns typifies everything which some players seem to think is permissable and which he has done (more so in AFL) without a thought to the right of a girl to say "no" at a gang rape, to take illicit drugs... need I go on?

Have to agree Waldo. It's all offensive.
When I was a kid we used to go to the local Rugby League matches on a Sunday. Any one interested could walk onto the field at half time and listen to the coach give instructions to the team. Never heard a swear word or a racial slur. And that was in days of unofficial segregation in this country!!
