I was a bit surprised to hear that he had passed away.

My condolences go out to his family.

Default Will the real David Bowie please stand up

I wasn't going to say anything about this sad event other than sixty nine is young to die in this modern day and age, but on the radio and on TV I have been bombasted by his life all day.

I recall a good pomie mate of mine who is a couple of years older than me telling me a long time ago that he was at a party in his early teens. He was much younger than almost everybody else so he was right on the outer except for one other kid, also ostracised by his date of birth. They struck up a normal conversation because they were were both normal, average kids.

The other kid was David Bowie.

Interestingly Bowie spent much of his life re-inventing himself, courtesy initially of his alter egos, but ultimately himself.

    R.I.P.

    Regards
