Or, John Mayall's Bluesbreakers might fit the bill.
Quote from Wiki.
"The Bluesbreakers were formed in January 1963 and became an ever-evolving lineup of more than 100 different combinations of musicians performing under that name[2]. Eric Clapton joined in 1965 just a few months after the release of their first album. Clapton brought the blues influences to the forefront of the group, as he had left The Yardbirds in order to play the blues."Last edited by Grumpy John; 2nd August 2009 at 09:24 PM. Nope
No member of this band has been continually with them since day one, although one member who started with them is with them now.
They owe their name to the name of the house they first rehearsed in.There was a young boy called Wyatt

Nope.
I was brought up listening to these guys and one of them stayed at my old mans joint when he toured in 2006. He is seen as one of the worlds best fiddle players and eventhough he is still kicking, he was pronounced dead by a tabloid in 1999.
Trying to give clues which are harder to google, so some of them may seem a bit more ambiguous. I think it is only fair - maybe we could set that tone of questions as a new convention for this thread? There was a young boy called Wyatt
