Default Japanese Temple Gardens in Kyoto

Only if you are interested in Japanese landscape gardens & bonsai.

I've uploaded them to my photobucket, you should be able to scroll through the album.
Hit the magnifier button first & then scroll away.

if you are the snooping kind, you can wobble off & scroll through the other albums but they are mostly about guitars & amplifiers & I have already posted some of them here anyway.

Save yer time, there isn't any .

You went to Kinkakuji and didn't take a photo of Kinkakuji...? That must be a first...!

My wife took some, I am just interested in the gardens, not the temples.

Yeah, once you've seen one golden temple, you've seen them all...

If you just wanted gardens then I would have suggested Korakuen in Okayama, or Kenrokuen in Kanazawa. Both easily accessible via shinkansen. Or a trip through Arashiyama and some of the gardens up there, keeping it local to Kyoto.

Went up to Asashiyama, did the romantic railway & the river boats & the bamboo grove walk, found several other gardens too, currently in Wakayama & we have been through the gardens at the castle, they are good.
