Can those 22 bids be genuine? How could anyone bid $520 for that?

If anyone finds the secret to this auction, let me know. I have a similar one in my workshop.

That one was discussed on the "ebay droppings" thread. Apparently they are quite rare with the embossed logo and are a collectors item. It is a razor hone so desirable to shaving paraphenalia collectors. Or something like that. A previous one sold on ebay for over $400
Those were the droids I was looking for.

As I've on a previous thread on an eBay item, some people loose their mind when bidding. Bidders become embroiled in the contest of bidding losing complete rational as to why they wanted the item in the first place. When bidding I stick to a price and if it goes past that price I walk away.

    Default The Stone.

    Hi Derek, & all,
This is great news for me, as I have 2 similar. Mine are very smooth & shiny, also Embossed, but can't remember which maker.
As far as I know they are used for honing Razors.
I'm really going to keep my eye on that Stone. I could do with a few $$$'s

I am guessing some of these bidders have more dollars than sense.
