Tormek DBS22
I'm sure you are all pretty aware that there is a new Tormek jig out there for sharpening drill bits, and a few might also know that I currently, somehow, have the only one in the country (actual shipment due shortly apparently). RRP$395 so more expensive than the basic Drill Doctor, cheaper than the expensive Drill Doctor (unless you also need to buy a wet stone sharpener as well!) Haven't tried a Drill Doctor, so cannot give you a comparison between them.
If you were curious about it, I have posted a couple of videos on Stu's Shed - the latest one today that actually puts one through its paces producing a primary and secondary faceted drill bit. In standard (640x480) and high definition (1280 x 720) versions
It's about 25 minutes long, so please don't ask it to be YouTubed!
Enjoy (or not)"Clear, Ease Springs"

Thanks for posting those. It really is a well designed jig.
Which only adds to my frustration at the outrageous price the Australian distributors are asking for it. I see in the US it's available for $255 ($278AUD) and in the UK for £175GBP ($294AUD).
Even taking shipping and such into account there has to be a significant per-unit profit in $395 we are being asked to pay. This jig will definitely be waiting for my next OS trip...
