On a normal wheel if the bar is slightly not square, after using the truing tool - it will be.
What happens if (and I’m sure it’s not a big if) the bar is not parallel with your new CBN wheel?
any thoughts on how you test and correct this?
That is a good question as the CBN wheel cannot be altered to fit the bar. I went through something similar with a 8" bench grinder and the Tormek tool rest, but that could be adjusted to be parallel. All I can think of is that the tool rest would need to be shimmed square if there is a discrepancy. Fortunately, you can leave the tool rest in a fixed position and adjust the blade for projection if this is needed - all Tormek owners I know of have not experienced any such discrepancy.

Should be easy enough to get the bar parallel to the wheel. \i have always found there is a little play
in most of theses mass produced items and that will allow you to adjust things to a fine tolerance.
