Can't Afford the Triton Cordless Plunge Drill? Try GMC.
No doubt about it.
The Triton Cordless Plunge Drill is a Professional Drill for Professionals.
Built to Tritons high standards and priced very competitively.
But for me, I can hardly ever afford decent new tools myself.
Maybe once a year I'm able to splurge.
And just couldn't talk the lady into going in halves on the Triton this time.
( usually works Doh! )
So after 1.5 hours of comparing prices and features at Bunnings,
The GMC BN24k won hands down at $AU99.
Its the exact same model as the C11524K selling for $AU139.
AND ONLY SOLD AT BUNNINGS.
AS A PROMOTIONAL ITEM.
SO I don't know how long it will last.
(Confirmed by GMC Technical Support.
On 2005 04 01 - No, this is NOT an April Fools Joke.)
Specifications for the C11524K found here:
http://www.gmcompany.com/index.cfm?p...96CB37D554E3D4
Manual for the C11524K found here:
http://www.gmcompany.com/index.cfm?ppage=manuals#
Just search the web page for: C11524K.
If you've purchased the C11524K in the last 30 days you can return it for the BN24K (again its the exact item just renumbed for the promotion) under the 30 Day Satisfaction Guarantee. Stating "The Price" as the reason. A new drill and $40 refund. (Domestic use only.) And a 2 year warranty.
It was a good buy (for me) for the level of quality and my current need (ie not professional just domestic).
Anyway, just wanted to share my good forture with everyone.
All the best...Last edited by barrysumpter; 1st April 2005 at 05:43 PM.

Good luck with the drill.
J!J!
My opinion is neither copyrighted nor trademarked, and its price is competitive. If you like, I'll trade for one of yours.

Yeah thanks for that woodlice.
Although, it's more than likely (considering the audience) you're being facetious.
I'm thinking the good luck was in finding it at that price.
PeaceThanks,

I recently bought a GMC 24volt kit, drill, 3 batteries, charger with timer, heaps of drill and driver bits etc. in a reasonable carry case from Home Hardware for $119.00. Seem pretty good to me!
Cheers, Les.

It's a not an exclusive bunnings promo, it's the bunnings scam.
They get tools badged with a model number exclusively for them, so when you see the exact same tool cheaper they can avoid the price match guarantee by saying that it's a different model number and therefore not the exact same tool.
Cheers
